Fox & Font began with a simple belief: the words we take time to write by hand still matter.
In a world that moves quickly, where messages vanish into inboxes and notifications, a handwritten note asks us to slow down. It creates a pause. It says, I thought of you, and I wanted you to know.
Rooted in thoughtful simplicity, refined detail, and the quiet beauty found in restraint, Fox & Font creates timeless paper goods for the ordinary moments that deserve more care: gratitude, encouragement, sympathy, celebration, friendship, remembrance, and the quiet in-between spaces where a few honest words can mean more than we realize.
Inspired by memory, place, and the subtle rhythms of daily life, each collection is shaped around a distinct mood, story, or season of connection.
Our designs favor balance, restrained color, timeless typography, and a sense of permanence.
The goal is not to follow trends, but to create pieces that feel useful, beautiful, and worthy of keeping year after year.
Behind the Brand
Fox & Font is created by Emily Wiegert, a graphic design educator, writer, and designer with a deep love for paper, language, legacy, and the small rituals that help us stay connected to one another.
By day, I teach graphic design. In the margins of that full life, I build Fox & Font slowly and intentionally: one collection, one essay, one thoughtful piece at a time.
I created Fox & Font for people who want to be thoughtful but sometimes need a little help beginning.
A beautiful card, a well-made piece of stationery, or a simple phrase can make the first step easier.
Because the truth is, most of us do not need more ways to communicate quickly.
We need more reasons to communicate well.
